Hi, my name’s Andrew Self, and I’m a Somerset-based property investor and property management professional.
Self Let Properties was founded on experience, trust and a genuine passion for property and people. After spending over 20 years as a qualified electrician, working closely with homeowners, landlords and tenants, I developed a deep understanding of what truly matters when it comes to property: reliability, transparency, good communication and peace of mind.
Having built my career providing a professional and dependable service in people’s homes, starting Self Let Properties was a natural next step. I wanted to create something different — a property business that combines professional standards with a personal approach, where clients know they can rely on someone who genuinely cares about their property and their needs.
Today, Self Let Properties provides tailored, hands-off property management solutions for landlords and homeowners, including guaranteed rent, thorough tenant vetting and minor property maintenance.
Alongside this, we work with social housing, supported living and other housing providers to source suitable properties that meet their specific requirements.
For me, this is about more than simply managing or letting property. By bringing landlords and housing providers together, I believe we can make better use of the housing already available in our local area, provide landlords with secure and professional solutions, and help housing providers access suitable homes for the people and communities they support.
Whether you own a single home, manage a portfolio of properties or are a housing provider looking for suitable accommodation, my aim is the same: to provide a reliable, honest and personal service, while making a positive contribution to the local community through good-quality housing.
With decades of hands-on experience and a genuine commitment to doing things right, I’m proud of what Self Let Properties is becoming — and I look forward to continuing to build long-term relationships with landlords, housing providers and the wider Somerset community.
